Thanks for visiting the work of Tony Mertz and Above and Below Imaging. I have been traveling and shooting nature and underwater photography now for over 10 years. With a BS degree in Marine Biology and a love for the ocean I finally decided it was time to take it all underwater. Being relatively self taught has allowed me the freedom to develop my own style while continuing to experiment with the rules of photography. The 2008 Reno Air Races are now up with photos of racing Mustangs and the Thunderbirds! Now that the 2009 Winter season has come to a close, take a look at some of the young talent coming out of Lake Tahoe.
